Srinagar, April 08 (KNO) : Continuing the drive against drug peddlers Police Station Nowhatta arrested a notorious drug peddler Zahoor Ahmad Sheikh @Gullu son of Ghulam Hassan Sheikh resident of Tujgari Mohalla, Sheikh colony, Srinagar.
The drive was conducted with the active participation of members of Shehri Khas Welfare Committee and Welfare Committee Makhdoom Sahab. During searches 205 grams of charas was recovered from his possession. In this regard FIR No 11/2018 under section 8/20 NDPS Act was registered and investigation set into motion. The locals have hailed the efforts of the police in curbing drug menace in the area.(KNO)
